I just got back from a visit to Hawaii. It was beautiful as usual. We went to visit my daughter. She has been living there for a few years.
We miss her terribly and we are not sure how long she will stay there, so we visit as often as we can. There could be worse places to visit for sure. I won't complain. We visited Kualoa ranch - its a great place to visit. Lots of outdoor things to do. Mountain and Jungle tours. Movie site tours. Independent ATV rides. Well worth a trip if you are on Oahu.
We also spent a day at the Bishop Museum, just on the outskirts of Honolulu. I love the old Polynesian and Hawaiian history. It's amazing that humans have literally covered the world including thousands of miles of ocean. And the Pacific Ocean is much bigger than most can imagine. Back in my Navy days, I crossed it several times. It's ginormous.
