Just Be Yourself
Just be yourself in everything you do. There is no other you. Just be you.
We interact with people we admire every day. I can’t count how many times I have said “oh … this is great. I want to be just like him.” Or “ I need to add this to my routine” - “what a great way to think about…” such and such. “ I love the way her mind works…”
But you are not that person. You will never be that person, so don’t even try.
Just be yourself. We are all the combination of our genes, environment, background, geography, experiences, influences, and habits. There is no other combination just like you in the world. None. So embrace it by being yourself and stop trying to emulate others.
“Just be me” is a great personal slogan and (short) manifesto. Maybe as catchy as “Just do it” or “Be all you can be”
So next time you sit down to write a blog post, just be yourself. No worries. You can’t mess up “me”
